Alaska Day 1

 Me is in Alaska! Me got here today and was so happy to get out of the dark yucky thing my human stuffed me in. Me was tossed around a lot in there and squished and had stuff on top of me! Me was soooo hungry 2. Me ate 3 rolls of toilet paper but the human mommy here made me stop. Told me she didn't want me getting a sick tummy.
Me got to ride on a funny noisy thing they told me is a snow machine (snow mobile to my humans at home). It was FUN! We went up and down hills through a lot of trees oooh maybe me eat some of them someday! Me going to see some mountains tomorrow. Me don't know what those are but the human mommy here says they are really big hills and pretty. Me will let you know if me likes them.
Human mommy here says time to go nighty night now so me will talk to you later. Mazie

Starting my journey...

And away I go...everything all ready, My Addi human help stuff my envelope, give me a kiss, and hand me to post master lady...me great grandma human was a post master! Till next time!

Me on my Way...

So me has left for me journey. I is on me way to Alaska. I left the post office in my perfected method of travel...A flat rate envelope costing $4.95. I hope that Myra and Roger have a lot of Toilet paper, I am going to be hungry when I come out of the envelope.

An Idea is formed...

So had a great fun idea for Addison (daughter age 3) and I today. I’m going to knit her a monster and send her on a trip and we are going to blog her progress in pictures and what the monster is doing! I just started her. Her name is Mazie! Mazie the monster! She is going to be purple and gray (Addison chose colors and is helping me count rows) and made out of the Rebecca Danger book The big book of knitted monsters. Addison picked Charlie the ceiling monster for Mazie to look like (I think because her sister’s name is Charlie LOL). She will be traveling with the back story and I want to include a address list (who to send to next) and my phone number to forward pictures and what she is up to (for the blog). And a journal for her hosts to wright in about what she has been up to. I'm thinking a week in each place. She will also come with care instructions because I know things happen. I figure this can be fun and educational for us. I love working on projects with Addison and I really hope this goes as well as planned. I’m already having fun knitting “Mazie” and getting input from Addi. Wish us luck!
